Bernard Bailyn

Bernard Bailyn (1922–2020) was an influential American historian, author, and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner. A long-time professor at Harvard University, he specialized in U.S. colonial and revolutionary-era history. His masterful works, such as The Ideological Origins of the American Revolution, reshaped the scholarship of republicanism and trans-Atlantic migration.
